Job summary

Farleigh School is seeking a caring and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support team in a vibrant prep environment. You will help pupils access the curriculum and thrive academically, socially and emotionally, working closely with class teachers and the Head of LS.

The role involves 1:1 support and small-group work, developing independence and tailored learning strategies, while upholding safeguarding policies and contributing to all aspects of school life.

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational setting.
• Ability to support pupils with SEND and develop learning strategies.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection policies.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Implement strategies from pupil's Education Plan under teacher guidance.
• Assist with academic, social and emotional development and promote independence.
• Monitor progress and report to teachers and Head of Learning Support.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the school to provide support as needed.
