Job summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key duties for the learning specialist include evaluating students' academic needs, designing specialized lesson plans, and implementing targeted instructional strategies to assist students on learning plans. The learning specialist will provide learning accommodations, organizational support, and testing support.

The Learning Specialist teacher will:
  • Display flexibility, optimism, creativity, high expectations, and a growth mindset
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues, students, and families
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral
