Qualifications

Responsibilities

Adapts lessons to implement IEP goals and address student needs.
Evaluate student abilities and progress to inform placement and goals.
Collaborates with school staff and community agencies to optimize outcomes.
Develops and maintains Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Directs instructional assistants and volunteers to support students.
Instructs students with special needs to develop academic and daily living skills.
Manages student behavior to ensure a safe learning environment.
Convenes MDT/IEP/Placement Team meetings and documents outcomes.
Maintains student records and IDEA/state compliance.
Prepares teaching materials and progress reports.
