Hurley Elementary School in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Learning Lab Teacher to provide targeted math and reading support in small groups. The role includes analyzing student data, coordinating MTSS Tier 2 and 3 interventions, and collaborating with the MTSS team to plan improving strategies.

The teacher will document progress weekly and report outcomes to the school team every 6–10 weeks, working under the Principal and coordinating with teacher assistants as needed.

Responsabilidades

• A. Manage instructional time: have materials ready, start class quickly, keep students on task.
• B. Manage student behavior: enforce rules, monitor transitions, maintain student dignity.
• C. Instructional presentation: review materials, present clearly, give relevant examples, pace appropriately.
• D. Monitor student performance: check progress, use work products to assess.
• E. Provide feedback: give prompt, constructive feedback on work.
• F. Facilitate instruction: plan aligned objectives, utilize resources, revise based on data.
• G. Interact in the education environment: fairness and collaboration.
