Job summary

Lake country Christian School in Texas seeks an Instructional Aide to support the Learning Lab for students in grades 1-12.

Under the supervision of the Learning Lab Coordinator and full-time instructor, you will assist with test administration, provide individualized and small-group support, and help maintain a structured, confidential environment where students can access accommodations and succeed academically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Christian faith aligned with school values.
• Experience working with school-age children; ability to maintain confidentiality and professional judgment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, monitoring, and administration of tests with accommodations.
• Provide individualized and small-group academic support across grades 1-12.
• Help maintain records of attendance, accommodations used, and progress while following confidentiality protocols.
• Model Christian character and support the school's spiritual life as appropriate.
• Maintain professional boundaries and escalate concerns to supervising staff.
