About

Job Title: Learning Experience Designer (Instructional Designer)

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Nashville, TN

Work Type: Remote, 9 am - 5 pm, 40 hours/week

Job Responsibilities

• Convert instructor-led training (ILT) to self-guided eLearning curriculum for on-demand delivery, transforming multi-day classroom experiences into interactive, self-paced modules.
• Develop multiple versions of specialized training programs for flexible, on-demand credentialing.
• Create engaging activities that translate in-person training to digital formats.
• Utilize generative AI tools to enhance content creation and learning experiences.
• Produce learning materials across various formats, including self-study, exercises, performance support tools, and knowledge-sharing resources.
• Create project plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and provide regular updates.
• Analyze learning data to provide insights on success metrics and KPIs.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision while following procedures.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of instructional design experience with a portfolio of completed content.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI applications and research methodologies.

Proficiency With Required Tools

• eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Vyond)
• Screen recording software (Camtasia)
• Adobe Creative Cloud suite
• Google Suite, LMS environments (Docebo preferred)
• Project management with Agile SCRUM

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of instructional design models (Action Mapping, ADDIE, adult learning principles)
• Portfolio demonstrating successful conversion of ILT to eLearning, curriculum development, simulations, microlearning, job aids, videos, and animations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience designing for diverse, global audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's or certifications preferred.

Immediate Execution Requirements

• Ability to contribute to active projects within the first week.
• Demonstrate proficiency with listed tools and methodologies during the selection process.
