Job summary

Wyoming County Schools seeks highly motivated educators to serve as Professional Learning & Enrichment Facilitators (PLEFs). The PLEF will provide on-site professional learning and enrichment support for student programs, strengthen PLCs, and guide teachers in evidence-based instructional practices aligned with WV Content Standards.

The role involves analyzing data, collaborating with principals, and sharing best practices district-wide to boost student achievement.

Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum of five years of successful teaching/administrative experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Experience facilitating professional development at county, state, or national level.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to focus on student learning, collaboration, and instructional improvement.
• Provide job-embedded modeling and feedback to teachers on lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
• Support educators in data analysis throughout the campus.
• Support principals and instructional leaders in analyzing walk-through data and providing effective teacher feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers to design enrichment and intervention strategies to close achievement gaps.
• Participate in Communities of Practice for PLEFs to share best practices across the district.
• Prepare reports and communicate instructional needs to district leadership.
