Job summary

Roseville Community Charter School in New Jersey seeks a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant to join the Child Study Team and support general and special education teachers and students. The LDTC reports to the Executive Director and Principal; must hold NJ certification with Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant endorsement.

3+ years teaching experience preferred; master's degree preferred. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and collaboration to ensure appropriate services

• Valid New Jersey educational services certification with Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Endorsement.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3 years of teaching experience.
• Knowledge of child growth and development, learning assessment and diagnosis, classroom management.

Job Requirements

• Valid New Jersey educational services certification with Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Endorsement


• Successful completion of a master's program preferred


• 3 years of teaching experience


• Knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, learning assessment and diagnosis, the needs and demands of the classroom professional, and research related to learning, instructional strategies, and classroom management


• Understanding of current rules and regulations regarding Child Study Teams and special education assessment and program requirements.
