Job summary

Community Charter School of Paterson is seeking a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) to join the Child Study Team. You will conduct educational evaluations, consult with teachers on instructional strategies, and support IEP development for students with learning disabilities and related exceptionalities.

The role requires NJ LDT-C certification and a Master’s in Special Education, with CST evaluation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires NJ Certification as LDT-C and a Master's in Special Education.
• Minimum three years teaching experience; CST evaluation experience preferred.
• Proficiency with standardized educational assessments and NJ DOE regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct educational evaluations for CST referrals and IEP development.
• Consult with teachers on instructional strategies and accommodations.
• Coordinate with CST team for eligibility conferences and IEP meetings.
• Ensure documentation is compliant with FERPA, IDEA, and NJDOE regulations.
• Monitor progress and provide data-driven instructional recommendations.
