Victor in Southern California is seeking a Training & Employee Development Specialist who designs, implements and evaluates strategic learning programs and directly facilitates sessions for staff. This role blends instructional design with classroom leadership to close skill gaps and boost organizational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in instructional design, talent management, or hands-on-training facilitation.
• Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Master’s degree preferred in Education or related field.
• CPTD certification preferred.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms and e-learning authoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Designs comprehensive curriculum, e-learning modules and development paths aligned with staff needs and Agency initiatives.
• Delivers instructor-led and virtual training sessions to staff at all organizational levels.
• Develops and provides supervisors/managers with training tools and resources to reinforce learning.
• Identifies organizational skills gaps through training evaluations and learner data.
• Measures training effectiveness using data analytics and feedback loops.
• Collaborates with Training & Employee Development Director to align initiatives with goals.
• Sources external training providers and manages relationships with consultants and platforms.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field

Master’s degree in Education, Social Services or related field

Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
