Job summary

Harvest Midstream Company is seeking a Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver learning programs that build employee capability and improve performance across the organization.

You will partner with the Director of Talent and Development to execute training initiatives aligned with the company’s competency framework and priorities, delivering high-quality experiences and maintaining training systems.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in training, learning and development or related HR function.
  • Experience facilitating training sessions and developing instructional content.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training tools.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and collaborate across functions.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations (10–25%).

Responsibilities

  • Support development and delivery of training programs aligned with competencies and business needs.
  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions for employees across levels.
  • Partner with HR and leaders to identify training needs and conduct needs assessments.
  • Develop and maintain training materials including presentations, e-learning modules, and guides.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and vendor coordination.
  • Administer and maintain the LMS, including course assignments and reporting.
  • Track training effectiveness via feedback and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Roll out enterprise learning initiatives such as onboarding and compliance training.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to translate technical content into training solutions.
  • Keep training content current and aligned with organizational changes.

Job description

Job Objective:

The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the design, development, and delivery of learning and development programs that build employee capability and enhance performance across the organization. This role partners with the Director of Talent and Development and HR team to execute training initiatives aligned with the company’s talent strategy, competency framework, and business priorities.

The Training Specialist plays a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, maintaining training systems and content, and ensuring employees have access to the tools and resources needed to grow and succeed in their roles.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and delivery of training programs aligned with organizational competencies,culture,business needs, and talent prioritiesestablishedby the Talent and Development function

  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions for employees across various levels of the organization, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences

  • Partner with HR and business leaders toidentifytraining needs andassistin conducting learning needs assessments

  • Develop andmaintaintraining materials, including presentations, job aids, e-learning modules, and facilitator guides

  • Coordinatelogisticsfor training sessions, including scheduling, communications, materials preparation, and vendor coordination

  • Administer andmaintainthe Learning Management System (LMS), including course assignments, tracking completion, and reporting

  • Track and analyze training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; provide insights for continuous improvement

  • Support the rollout of enterprise learning initiatives such as leadership development programs, onboarding, and compliance training

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical or operational content into effective training solutions

  • Ensure training contentremainscurrent, relevant, and aligned with organizational changes and priorities

  • Assistin reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization

Qualifications:
  • Minimumof3–6 years of experience in training, learning and development, or a related HR function

  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training tools

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across functions

  • Willingness to travel to field locations as needed (estimated 10–25%)

Education Requirements, Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
  • Bachelor’sdegreerequired. Preferablyin Human Resources,Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or relatedfield.
