You'll drive program excellence through data-driven decisions and best practices, leading cross-functional initiatives to deliver scalable learning solutions.

We're seeking a learning professional who brings deep expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design, along with a proven track record in program management and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate possesses communication and influencing skills, with the ability to execute with speed while maintaining exceptional quality. Above all, you should have a passion for developing others and driving organizational growth. This position offers exceptional visibility and the opportunity to shape learning strategies that power one of the world's largest logistics networks.

Key job responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, and evaluate training solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to gather requirements and create learning content
  • Design and develop engaging multimedia content using various authoring tools – such as Vyond, Articulate Storyline, Adobe
  • Create storyboards, scripts, and job aids that support learning objectives
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to course development
  • Ensure consistency in learning design across multiple programs and platforms
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Measure and evaluate training effectiveness through various assessment methods
  • Stay current with industry trends and learning technologies
  • Maintain course content and curriculum documentation
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of learning programs

Our comprehensive learning programs span immersive onboarding experiences, in-depth product knowledge training, leadership development initiatives, and specialized technical training. Through these programs, we ensure our employees stay at the forefront of industry knowledge while fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, training development, and e-learning creation
  • Proven experience with Articulate 360/Storyline or similar authoring tools
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging training materials including e-learning courses, instructor-led materials, job aids, and multimedia content
  • Experience in a major corporate training environment working on instructional design assignments
  • Experience delivering training to both individuals and groups
  • Experience implementing full training life cycle in order to improve organizational training initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Proven competence using an LMS, such as Cornerstone, Moodle, or Thinking Cap
  • Multimedia development capabilities (video editing, graphics design, animation)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • History of success in fast-paced, global environments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
