Job summary

Proficient Auto Logistics is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to design, deliver, and continuously improve training for managers, office staff, drivers, and shop personnel in auto haul operations.

You will develop curricula on FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations, coordinate onboarding orientations, track completion, and partner with Safety, Operations, and HR to align learning with performance, compliance, and retention goals.

Qualifications

• High school education required. Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, schedule, and deliver onboarding orientations and ongoing training programs for drivers, owner-operators, and shop personnel, ensuring FMCSA/DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations, policies, safety standards, and customer requirements are met.
• Develop and update training materials including manuals, toolkits, videos, eLearning content, and job aids relevant to auto haul operations, ELD/HOS, safety practices, and technology platforms.
• Maintain and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, enrollment, tracking, and data integrity.
• Coordinate logistics for in-person, virtual, and blended training sessions; work with Recruiting to track new-hire progress and payroll reporting.
