Job summary

Orange County's Federal Credit Union is seeking a Learning and Development Business Partner who thrives at the intersection of talent development and business results. You will shape enterprise learning strategy and partner with leaders to turn priorities into actionable programs.

This hybrid-eligible role requires California residency and collaboration across the enterprise to improve engagement, retention, and performance through diverse learning modalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Development experience.
• Financial services, banking, or credit union experience strongly preferred.
• Experience serving as a business partner, consultant, or internal advisor.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to translate business priorities into learning solutions.
• Develop enterprise learning strategy and roadmaps.
• Design and implement learning experiences across multiple modalities (ILT, virtual, e-learning, blended).
• Apply performance consulting to diagnose root causes and drive measurable outcomes.

Be a Trusted Strategic Advisor

You’ll build influential partnerships across the organization, collaborating with leaders to understand business priorities, workforce challenges, and performance gaps. Through thoughtful consultation and needs assessment, you’ll transform business objectives into impactful talent and learning solutions.

Drive Enterprise Learning Strategy

You’ll develop learning roadmaps that support organizational initiatives, including:

• Digital transformation
• Compliance and regulatory readiness
• Employee engagement and retention
• Change management initiatives

Solve Performance Challenges

You’ll apply performance consulting principles to look beyond training requests and identify root causes. By analyzing business metrics and performance data, you’ll recommend the right solutions, whether that’s training, coaching, process improvements, job aids, or change management strategies.

Build Innovative Learning Solutions

Partnering with our talented Learning & Development team, you’ll help design and implement learning experiences through multiple modalities, including:

• Instructor-led training
• Virtual learning
• E-learning
• Blended learning programs
• Microlearning
• Videos and multimedia
• Performance support tools
• Infographics and job aids

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent Development experience
• Financial services, banking, or credit union experience strongly preferred
• Experience serving as a business partner, consultant, relationship manager, or internal advisor

Additional Expertise

• Adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies
• Change management principles and practices
• Learning technologies and learning management systems
• Microsoft 365 applications
• Learning analytics and performance measurement
• Credit union or banking regulations and operational environments

The targeted hourly rate range is $32.00 per hour to $39.00 per hour. Final offer will be determined based on experience, education, training/certifications and specialized skills.

This position is currently hybrid-eligible, with the expectation of three days pre-assigned on-site attendance. This role requires California residency and living within a 50-mile commute of our headquarters in Santa Ana.
