Job summary
California State University Channel Islands seeks an Instructional Designer/Technologist III to design and support online, blended, and technology-enhanced instruction across programs. You will collaborate with faculty and the Teaching & Learning Innovations team to develop courses, templates, and guides that improve teaching practices and student outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any academic discipline required.
- Advanced degree in Education or related field highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) required.
- Knowledge of WordPress, Canvas, and emerging technologies (AI) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Applies extensive expertise in online design theory and learning theory to create accessible, inclusive online learning experiences at course/program level.
- Collaborates with Teaching & Learning Innovations to design, develop, and facilitate online, blended, and digitally mediated courses.
- Expands and maintains an online community for faculty focused on innovation in teaching and learning.
