Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Library Science from an accredited program (ALA preferred).
• Strong information literacy instruction and ability to teach in multiple formats.

• Experience with automated library systems and database searching.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and impact on higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develop, teach, and assess information literacy across diverse environments and locations.
• Plan and conduct student and faculty orientations.
• Assist faculty with integrating library research into courses.
• Provide answers to reference questions and maintain desk schedule.
• Interact with patrons to locate information on-campus and online.
• Collaborate to deliver excellent customer service.
• Create and update guides for research tools and databases.
• Supervise and train work-study students in the library.
• Lead special projects promoting the library and resources.
• Engage in professional development and stay current in the field.
