Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking an organized Learning Center Coordinator to deliver outstanding guest service, manage scheduling, and recruit seasonal ski and snowboard instructors. Responsibilities

• Manage employee scheduling, assignments, training feedback, and related data within Flaik.
• Coordinate squad leaders, coaches, and other staffing roles.
• Collaborate with Marketing for website and social content advertising the Learning Center.
• Recruit for a high volume of seasonal instructors, including sourcing, phone screens, and interviews.
• Assess applicants’ skills and abilities to determine best fit.
• Partner with Human Resources for onboarding.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job description

• An ability to provide outstanding guest service
• Outstanding attention to detail and project management skills
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to stay organized
• Tech savvy with an aptitude for learning new software systems quickly
• An ability to compile simple and complex reports
• Demonstrated soft skills including the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely when communicating with the resort’s leadership team
• A flexible schedule is needed along with the ability to work both onsite and remotely on occasion

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Manage employee scheduling, assignments, training feedback, and related data within the company’s Flaik software
• Coordinate squad leaders, coaches, and other special staffing roles
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department for website and social media content advertising the Learning Center and its offerings
• Manage the recruiting for a high volume of season ski and snowboarding instructors, with duties including sourcing, performing phone screens, and scheduling interviews with management
• Assess applicants’ skills and abilities to determine best fit within the Learning Center
• Partner with the Human Resources Department for a seamless employee onboarding experience
• Must possess the ability to work a flexible scheduling as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays
