Job summary

Seattle Hebrew Academy in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced Learning Center Specialist to support students with individualized academic instruction and in-class accommodations. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and tutors to develop and monitor learning plans and track progress.

Responsibilities include pull-out and push-in services, testing accommodations, and active participation in professional development and school meetings to foster student growth and a supportive learning

Qualifications

• Clear and effective oral and written communication
• Ability to assess student learning and set learning goals
• Experience collaborating with colleagues and mentoring
• Strong knowledge of elementary/middle school content and state requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide pull-out services for individualized academic instruction
• Provide push-in services for in-class academic support
• Provide testing accommodations and support for all students
• Develop and implement individual student learning plans with students, parents, and instructors
• Provide ongoing consultations to teachers and school staff regarding progress
• Attend Learning Center, Grade Level, and staff meetings
• Collaborate with contracted tutors and support specialists
• Coordinate with Director to maintain student support schedules
• Create a learning environment conducive to growth
• Participate in department and school meetings
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues
