Job summary

Mathnasium of Glen Mills is seeking a Center Director to lead our Chadds Ford location with energy and enthusiasm. You will oversee operations, staff, and student progress while expanding enrollment and maintaining top customer service.

The role emphasizes sales-driven growth, educational leadership, and staff development within a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with standard computer applications and data tracking.
• Experience in customer relationships and sales is a plus.
• Previous management or leadership roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day center operations and staff scheduling.
• Hire, train, and supervise center staff to deliver Mathnasium Method instruction.
• Lead and motivate team members to achieve student success and profitability.
• Market the Mathnasium program by building school/community relationships.
• Drive enrollment and enroll new families while retaining current families.
• Administer assessments, identify learning gaps, and tailor learning plans.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate student progress.
• Monitor center performance metrics and ensure quality standards.

Looking for a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual to run our Mathnasium learning center!

Core responsibilities:

• SALES: procuring new business in the form of signing up new families, as well as retaining our existing enrolled families


• EDUCATION: overseeing and ensuring the educational progress of our enrolled students


• MANAGEMENT: managing and training all center staff, ensuring best practices are being utilized

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center


• Screen, hire, train, and schedule employees to effectively provide individualized instruction in a group setting via in-center, online, and/or hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method


• Lead and motivate team members by developing them professionally and personally


• Market the Mathnasium program by building school and community relationships


• Conduct sales by promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students


• Administer student assessments, identify learning gaps, and develop customized learning plans


• Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress


• Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success


• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes


• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Qualifications:

• Passion for math and working with students


• Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills


• Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities


• Eagerness to learn and be trained


• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I


• Proficiency in computer skills


• Completed Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in education, math, or related field


• Previous management or leadership experience preferred


• Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
