Job summary

Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) is seeking a Senior Director of Learning Architecture for Professional Learning. This remote role includes 15% travel and oversees learning strategy, materials, and train-the-trainer programs to support educators and OST professionals nationwide.

The position focuses on evidence-based learning design, implementation science, and cross-functional alignment to advance SHP's mission across virtual and in-person modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Adult Education, K-12 Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
• 7+ years designing, developing, and writing professional learning for educators or related audiences.
• 10+ years working with K-12 school systems, OST programs, or similar learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the strategic vision for SHP's professional learning architecture aligned with goals and field trends.
• Oversee design, development, and improvement of educator-facing materials and tools for high-quality program delivery.
• Lead the design and delivery of scalable train-the-trainer systems and learning offerings.
• Plan annual priorities, monitor progress, and report outcomes to executive leadership.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate professional learning into training and support models.
