The Learning and Engagement Specialist (LES) ensures and helps deliver the mission of Arizona Science Center: enrich all communities & audiences through science. As part of the Science on Wheels team, the LES provides exemplary Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) engagement experiences outside of the museum, within the state of Arizona. The LES prepares and facilitates engaging STEAM activities, demonstrations, events, and camps. The LES travels to various sites, including schools, libraries, resource centers, and community events. While most programming occurs within or near Maricopa County, overnight travel throughout Arizona is required. The LES provides quality teaching and community support, collaborates with team members, and fosters engagement for success in learning. Overall, the LES offers inclusive and engaging STEAM experiences by serving as a friendly, professional, and team-oriented leader at Arizona Science Center.
