Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in learning and development, talent development, leadership development, or a similar HR-focused role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate employee training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and create programs that address specific team and business objectives.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities, helping employees understand company culture, expectations, and service standards.

  • Identify employees with strong potential and help coordinate mentorship, career development, job rotation, and leadership opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance information, and employee development documentation.
  • Collect participant feedback and evaluate training effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Description

The Learning and Development Manager will oversee employee training and development initiatives designed to strengthen skills, improve performance, and support career growth. This role will work closely with leaders across the organization to identify development needs, coordinate training programs, support new hire onboarding, and help build a culture centered around learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend departmental meetings and assist with additional operational needs as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related discipline preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in learning and development, talent development, leadership development, or a similar HR-focused role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with employees and leaders across a diverse organization.
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva is a plus.
  • Ability to learn and apply established service and quality standards.
  • Professional presence with the ability to communicate confidently with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to obtain required local licenses or certifications, as applicable.
  • This is an exempt, full-time position.
  • The role requires frequent interaction with employees across multiple departments.
  • Candidates should be comfortable spending extended periods on their feet and navigating stairs and uneven or occasionally wet surfaces.
  • The position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • A polished, professional appearance and adherence to applicable grooming standards are expected.
  • Occasional operational support and participation in required departmental meetings may be part of the role.
