Job description

The company provides innovative identity and risk solutions, empowering institutions and individuals to transact with confidence. The organization is building the future of identity verification, replacing a clunky, ineffective, and expensive status quo with solutions that are faster, smarter, and more accurate.

The company has seen tremendous traction and is growing extremely quickly. Its real-time APIs have helped verify hundreds of millions of identities, starting with financial services and rapidly expanding into new markets. The organization is backed by world-class investors.

The company has earned recognition from various publications and has been named to prestigious lists. It has also made history by being the first company to go live with a key industry standard and testified before a government committee on the future of identity.

The company supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. It operates as a digital-first organization with strong collaboration across different regions. The company maintains physical offices in several U.S. cities and in India. Depending on the role and location, there may be an expectation to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design.

Role

The organization is looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to build and scale learning initiatives.

This is a foundational role. The individual will define the learning strategy, mature existing programs, and build new ones that help employees, managers, and leaders grow throughout their careers.

The role will own learning across the employee lifecycle - from onboarding and fraud education through to manager development, leadership capability, performance enablement, and knowledge sharing. Some programs already exist; many do not. The individual will be expected to identify where learning can have the biggest impact, design practical solutions, and deliver them.

This role reports to the Head of People and partners closely with leaders across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the organization's learning and development strategy, identifying capability gaps and prioritizing learning initiatives that have measurable business impact.
  • Design, build, and continuously improve learning programs across the employee lifecycle, including company onboarding, department onboarding, fraud education, manager development, leadership development, and ongoing professional growth.
  • Partner with leaders across the business to understand capability needs and develop practical learning solutions that improve individual and organizational performance.
  • Design and facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions, and learning experiences for employees, managers, and leaders across the company.
  • Improve how employees access and share knowledge by helping build scalable learning resources, documentation, and self-service tools.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programs and use data and feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Act as the primary owner for learning and development within the organization, balancing long-term strategy with hands-on execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience in Consulting (leading learning, change management, or organizational effectiveness workstreams), Learning & Development, Talent Development, or similar.
  • Experience building and scaling learning programs rather than simply delivering existing content.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
  • Strong program management skills and the ability to independently drive multiple initiatives from idea through execution.
  • Experience designing practical, engaging learning experiences for adult learners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where many programs will be built from the ground up.
  • Curious, collaborative, pragmatic, and highly execution-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.
  • Experience supporting technical organizations.

Compensation

$155,000-$200,000/year + equity + benefits

  • Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Home office stipend, and more!

  • Whatever It Takes
  • Do Something Smart
