Job summary

Penske Collision is seeking a skilled adult learning and development professional to consult on talent development needs and facilitate programs for the Collision team. You will partner with leadership to understand business challenges and develop impactful learning solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in adult learning, facilitation, and instructional design, plus proficiency with Articulate 360 and learning technologies. Some travel may be required as part of program delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • 3+ years of adult learning and development experience preferred
  • 1 year of virtual and in-person facilitation and presentation skills required
  • 1 year of Instructional Design experience required
  • Strong project and program management skills preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Articulate 360, including Storyline 360 and Rise 360
  • Demonstrates proficiency in facilitation, instructional design, performance consulting, and project management
  • Strong executive presence, advanced verbal and written communication skills, and positive influencing skills
  • Highly creative and innovative, self-driven with attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Ability to partner with operational groups and other talent development team members
  • Technical skills and systems knowledge of learning tools (Zoom, Excel, Teams, Adobe, Articulate, LMS)
  • Some overnight travel up to 20-25% may be required
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, location, background checks and drug screening required

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for consulting with Penske Collision for the implementation and facilitation of projects and programs that address Collision’s unique talent development needs. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with a passionate, progressive, and high-impact team. You will form strong internal partnerships with all levels of leaders as you look to understand their business and challenges and develop programs that make a difference for our associates.

Qualified candidates for this role will have at least 3 years of prior adult learning and development experience, as well as facilitation and instructional design experience.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

In partnership with the Manager, Leadership Development, and appropriate stakeholders:

Facilitation
  • Facilitate interactive instructor led training sessions to implement learning and development solutions for Collision (in-person and virtually).
Program Delivery
  • Supports program manager in delivering programs.
  • Operate and maintain learning technologies and systems used in the delivery of instructional and/or interactive programs or courses.
  • Track completion data and key learning metrics; in addition to leveraging other systems and technologies needed for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in the scheduling and administration of sessions.
Instructional Design
  • Create and maintain training deliverables such as participant guides, facilitator guides, training slide decks, job-aids, and eLearning modules.
Project Work
  • Design and implement short-term solutions with subject matter experts to develop skills and promote role clarity for Penske Collision.
  • Collaborate with the Collision learning and development team on strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Other projects and tasks as directed by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • 3+ years of adult learning and development experience preferred
  • 1 year of virtual and in-person facilitation and presentation skills required
  • 1 year of Instructional Design experience required
  • Strong project and program management skills preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Articulate 360, including Storyline 360 and Rise 360
  • Demonstrates past proficiency of: Facilitation skills (Virtual and in-person), instructional design, performance consulting skills, and project management
  • Strong executive presence, advanced verbal and written communication skills, and positive influencing skills are necessary for successful performance in this role
  • Highly creative and innovative, self-driven with relentless attention to detail and hunger to learn
  • Ability to partner with operational groups and other talent development team members to ensure successful design and implementation of programs
  • Technical skills and systems knowledge of relevant learning tools (Zoom, Excel, Teams, Adobe, Articulate, LMS, etc.)
  • Some overnight travel up to 20-25% may be required.
