Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to orchestrate the design, development, and delivery of learning experiences across our maintenance portfolio. You will apply learner-centered design, collaborate with SMEs, and leverage modern learning tech to drive knowledge transfer and skill development.

The role requires 5+ years in learning and adult education, a Bachelor's (Master's preferred), and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Education required.
Master's degree preferred.
ATD Master Instructional Designer certification preferred.
Knowledge of Learning Technology Administration.
Strong project management skills.
At least 5 years of experience in learning and adult education.
At least 3 years of experience in instructional design and leveraging learning technologies.
Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Willingness to travel and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects and teams to ensure on time delivery and high-quality transfer of learning.
Apply learner-centered design approaches to conduct needs analyses, establish learning outcomes and build execution plans.
Create compelling learning experiences that keep pace with evolving information consumption.
