POSITION: Learning and Development Assistant Manager
GRADE: 19MA
Overall Position Purpose: This is a professional level position that assists in administering the library’s program of training and staff development to ensure that Library staff at all levels have the training required to provide the highest level of service to the public or in support of public service. Responsibilities also extend to administrative work of the Library's Human Resources Office, such as developing records of staff training, participating in formulating and executing HR department goals and objectives, etc.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, business, public administration or closely related field plus five years of public library experience with at least two years of professional experience in training design and delivery; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that has provided the necessary knowledge, abilities, and skills.
