Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. is seeking a lean water spider at a manufacturing facility in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position with hours 3:30 p.m. to 12 a.m., Monday through Friday. You will help maintain continuous material flow, stock accuracy, and production readiness.

Responsibilities include staging, delivering, replenishing materials, operating pallet jacks and WMS/EWM systems, counting inventory, preparing work orders, and keeping logs, safety and housekeeping in focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Must follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 lbs and handle manual tasks.
• Experience with WMS/EWM systems or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted production flow by staging, delivering, and replenishing materials in a timely manner.
• Perform material movements using scanners, WMS/EWM systems, and equipment.
• Retrieve materials from warehouse to resolve production delays.
• Return materials and complete transactions in the system.
• Consolidate pallets and organize staging areas.
• Supply pallets and materials to production areas.
• Execute accurate component counts and inventory spot checks.
• Prepare and stage work orders.
• Open packaging for large orders and remove packaging materials.
• Perform simple assembly tasks and assist production projects.
• Generate labels using scanners, printers, and PCs.
• Maintain logs and documentation.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a lean water spider position at a manufacturing company in Danbury CT. These are temp-to-hire positions. The lean water spider ensures continuous material flow, maintains inventory accuracy, and assists with production readiness. The hours are 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $23 an hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure uninterrupted production flow by staging, delivering, and replenishing materials in a timely manner
• Perform material movements physically and electronically using scanners, WMS/EWM systems, and equipment
• Retrieve materials from warehouse or MRA induction to resolve production delays
• Return materials and completed items ensuring accurate system transactions
• Consolidate pallets and organize staging areas
• Supply pallets and materials to production areas
• Execute accurate component counts and perform inventory spot checks
• Prepare and stage work orders
• Open packaging for large orders, remove valves, and discard packaging material
• Perform simple assembly tasks and assist production projects as needed
• Generate labels using scanners, printers and PCs
• Maintain logs and documentation
• Perform spray booth maintenance and record activities
• Arrange repair for faulty equipment
• Dispose of scrap material per procedure
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Able to follow company policies and safety procedures
• Able to handle physical aspect of the job, including lifting up to 44 lbs.
• Experience with or ability to learn WMS/EWM systems
• Computer skills
