Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dependable Material Handler (Water Spider) to support continuous production by delivering materials, parts, and supplies to production lines and workstations in a timely and efficient manner. This position plays an important role in keeping production running smoothly by monitoring material levels, replenishing supplies, moving inventory, receiving shipments, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong material-handling skills, and experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supply production lines and workstations with materials, parts, and supplies to support continuous production.
• Transport raw materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
• Monitor material levels at production lines and storage areas and replenish supplies as needed.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and properly label and organize materials.
• Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Use barcode scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and material movement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, and production teams to prioritize material movement.
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Ensure materials are stored and handled according to company policies and safety procedures.
• Keep warehouse aisles, staging areas, production areas, and workstations clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with other warehouse and production support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating pallet jacks.
• Experience safely loading, unloading, transporting, and staging materials.
• Experience supporting production lines in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and material handling.
• Ability to use barcode scanners and warehouse systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when labeling, organizing, and recording inventory.
• Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse, shipping, and production teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.

Work Environment

Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Work takes place around production lines, warehouse storage areas, and staging areas. Regular use of forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and barcode scanners. Clean and organized work environment with well-maintained aisles and workstations.
