Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a Logistics Engineer – Warehouse to drive Lean improvements in warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, and shipping functions. You will analyze processes, layouts, and material flow to boost productivity, reduce waste, and improve safety and quality.

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Quality), you will design optimized layouts, establish KPIs, and implement standardized work and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean principles and continuous improvement in warehouse settings.
• Ability to conduct time studies, capacity planning, and data analysis to drive decisions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze warehouse operations, material flow, labor utilization, inventory movement, and methods to identify opportunities for productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Develop and optimize warehouse layouts, storage locations, staging areas, picking areas, receiving/shipping areas, and material presentation to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate warehouse capacity and develop capacity plans based on inventory levels, material volumes, production requirements, and future business needs.
• Identify warehouse process bottlenecks and develop data-driven solutions to improve throughput, reduce delays, and increase operational performance.
