Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Pasco, WA seeks a leader to champion continuous improvement in manufacturing, driving lean initiatives and change management across plant teams. The role focuses on implementing and reviewing Lean Sigma and CI projects aligned with the General Manager’s goals.

The candidate will solicit information from internal and external resources, mentor CI staff, and ensure best practices are shared across the organization. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years manufacturing experience required; food industry experience preferred.
• Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with computer programs including Word, Excel and email with mastery.
• Proficient at writing reports and communicating to leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to implement lean concepts and manage change for continuous improvement success.
• Develop skills to implement Lean Sigma and continuous improvement disciplines; create ownership and shared results.
• Lead Kaizen events, training, and education in continuous improvement; monitor skill improvements across supervisors and staff.
• Develop tools to maximize lean effectiveness (e.g., SPC, pass-down meetings, related CI tools).
• Serve as a Lean/CI leader; mentor development of CI resources in the plant.
• Ensure processes to share best practices across plant and organization; work with internal/external customers.
