Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Lean Leader to drive Kaizen transformation at the Abbeville, SC site and embed Prysmian Excellence System across the organization. You will partner with site leadership to develop a Kaizen roadmap and lead workshops that improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will train teams from operators to site leaders, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure sustained results through visual daily management and standard work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of five years in a manufacturing environment with leadership in Kaizen and Continuous Improvement.
• Minimum Greenbelt Certification.
• Proficient in Gemba Kaizen, Value Stream Analysis, Visual & Daily Management, Hoshin Kanri, SMED, TPM, Standard Work Development, and 3P Layout.
• Strong ability to facilitate Kaizen events and identify future Lean minded personnel.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a business partner to the site Director and key member of the site leadership team, providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to drive Kaizen culture.
• Develops annual Kaizen transformation roadmap aligned to site needs and regional goals to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
• Embeds Kaizen and Lean principles across all levels of the site and sustains initiatives.
• Leads Kaizen workshops/events with measurable flow improvements and waste elimination for high volume product groups.
• Delivers training and mentorship on Kaizen, Lean, and PES to build Lean practitioners across the site.
