Job summary

Lumicity is seeking a seasoned Lean/Continuous Improvement leader to guide the medical device manufacturing site. You will spearhead transformation, optimize processes, reduce waste, and drive reliability across operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Lean/CI, with experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing, and strengths in 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, Six Sigma, and delivering measurable productivity gains.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Lean/CI change-agent or leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or related field.
• Experience implementing Lean within medical device/FDA-regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, scrap, cost, or efficiency.
• Strong leadership, change management, analytical, and communication skills; Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site-wide Lean and Continuous Improvement strategy and transformation roadmap.
• Drive process optimization, waste elimination, scrap reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Lead Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and other Lean initiatives.
• Identify manufacturing bottlenecks and use root-cause analysis, PDCA, and Six Sigma to resolve issues.
• Develop and implement SOPs, standardized processes, and Lean best practices across operations.
• Track KPIs and measurable improvements, while training teams and embedding a continuous-improvement culture.
