Dover Food Retail is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer in Centerville, IA. You will drive lean initiatives, coach teams, and lead cross-functional problem solving to deliver sustainable improvements across operations and support functions.

Ideal candidates bring LEAN/OPEX experience, project management, and strong communication to influence across all levels. The role reports to the factory CI Leader and supports value creation within the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5–7 years of Continuous Improvement experience with a relevant degree or equivalent.
• Hands-on Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and problem-solving skills required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving cycles of improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coaching to identify and eliminate waste.
• Facilitating cross-functional teams and lean initiatives.
• Using data-based decision making and problem-solving processes.
• Organizing Kaizen events and managing logistics.
