Job summary

Pelican Products in South Deerfield, MA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead lean transformations across our manufacturing operations. You will drive efficiency, quality, and cost improvements by applying lean tools and mentoring teams.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to standardize best practices, perform data analysis, and deliver measurable results that support our mission-critical products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on Lean Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing operational improvements in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and change-management capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of Lean tools (5S, visual workplace, mistake proofing, PDCA, standard work).

Responsibilities

• Lead Transformation: act as a change agent to embrace continuous improvement and lean processes.
• Apply Lean Tools to identify inefficiencies and develop sustainable solutions.
• Mentor & empower teams with lean principles and problem-solving tools.
• Analyze & Optimize by collecting and interpreting process data for trends and performance.
• Drive Project Success with on-time completion and measurable results.
• Standardize Best Practices across the organization for consistency and efficiency.
• Audit for Excellence by regularly reviewing Lean processes for compliance and improvement.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership to align KPIs.
• Perform Other Duties as needed to support organizational goals.
