Job summary

Zero Zone, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Lean Technician to support continuous improvement in our manufacturing environment.

You will apply Lean practices, lead 5S audits, and coordinate Kaizen events across production areas to drive waste reduction and quality compliance. Responsibilities include promoting lean culture, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and evaluating manufacturing methods to sustain efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• 2+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Basic understanding of ISO documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote a lean culture by working with areas to complete events and projects for future state plans.
• Assist in daily 5S auditing in production areas with documented results.
• Coordinate Kaizen events with teams to support continuous improvement.
• Confer with Quality, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, and Design Engineering to reduce waste.
• Communicate improvement opportunities to ZZD System Division for consistency.
• Develop, evaluate, and audit manufacturing methods to reduce waste and ensure quality.
• Review standard labor hours vs actual hours to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations.
