The FST will conduct store/site visits, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair within assigned locations. The following are the essential duties and responsibilities you can expect to do:Essential Responsibilities:Inspect the installation of equipment for proper leveling, sealing, piping, and refrigeration practices.Observe the operation of mechanical and electrical componentsAssist installers in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and refrigeration problems on-site and via telephone supportProvide feedback and design ideas to improve the installation, operation, or appearance of our equipmentComplete paperwork and reports as requiredAttend regional and national meetings for Zero Zone field personnelOther duties as assignedRequirements for Effective Performance:A technical degree or certification in related field and 3-5 years of related experience in service and repair in the refrigeration industryExperience with industrial refrigeration applications and installation of refrigerated cases, methods and techniques are a plusTravel requiredSkills/Abilities/Specifications:Experience with CO2PLC, CPC, Micro-Thermal, Danfoss, RDM and other control packagesTroubleshooting refrigeration systemsExperience with wiring schematics and troubleshooting electrical systemsUnderstanding of network and communication systemsAbility to positively interact with customers, clients, and co-workersBehavioral & Environmental Requirements:Regularly required to stand or walk; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and lift and/or move up to 70 pounds usually from the floor to waist level, up to 20 feet awayFrequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, usually from the floor to waist level, up to 20 feet awaySpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusRequires the use of safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoesZero Zone expects all employees to behave and communicate in a manner which will facilitate good relations with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors: maintaining a positive work atmosphere
