Zero Zone, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Supply Chain and Production to drive continuous improvement of external and internal quality.

You will qualify, monitor, and control external suppliers while promoting a quality-at-source mindset. You will lead CAPA efforts, root-cause analysis, and SCAR processes for supplier quality issues, developing measurable quality improvements and cross-functional collaboration to reduce COQ and

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of direct quality related experience.
• Experience with LEAN and Six Sigma.
• Experience with SPC and CAPA processes.

Responsabilidades

• Organize, analyze, and present quality data to identify failures and opportunities.
• Lead the internal CAPA process including Root Cause Analysis for quality failures.
• Manage SCAR process for supplier quality failures and drive improvements.
• Identify and complete quality improvement projects with measurable results.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality requirements.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring Zero Zone meets the needs of its customers by:Qualification, monitoring and control of external suppliersDriving a quality assurance mindset through quality at the source methodologySupporting process focused qualityDeveloping, monitoring, and improving quality metrics for all internal and external suppliers and processesParticipates in and/or leads Corrective Action Preventative Actions (CAPA’s) utilizing scientific thinking to implement countermeasures to drive quality improvementsKey Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
