Job summary

HireTalent is seeking a Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement professional to partner with Industrial Engineers and lead process enhancements from tendering to delivery.

You will animate improvements in plant operations, drive Kaizen events, and help deploy smart factory solutions with global leaders, while building productivity and Direct Labor metrics across the production system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field.
• Extensive experience with Lean Manufacturing Tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual management, Kaizen) is required.
• 4+ years of experience with any Production Systems (TPS or similar).
• Extensive experience with Agile Methodologies/Project Management.
• Ability to set priorities and form action plans to implement & monitor results.
• Experience with cost saving projects for a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in industrial mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
• Ability to interact and lead others in a collaborative environment.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, project management and communication skills.
• Experience with change management principles and ability to drive the change process.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement of the whole process from tendering to delivery.
• Animate continuous improvement on plant operations based on the client's Performance System.
• Lead or participate in Kaizen events and drive actions.
• Help lead deployment of smart factory solutions in plant and liaise with IPM and global leaders.
• Define actions to build productivity and monitor progress.
• Track Direct Labor Productivity and report to support functions with standard tools.
• Ensure transversal actions sustain SPS level in the plant and implement SPS plans.
• Develop skills in the factory on manufacturing excellence.
• Manage Plant Value Stream Mapping (current & future state) and improve product lead time.
• Implement concepts of green/red, SPS architecture lines, Short Interval Management, and material handling.
