Job summary

Jabil seeks a Lean Six Sigma Engineer to mentor continuous improvement across the plant using Lean Six Sigma tools (VSM, SMED, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA). The focus is to minimize non-value-added activities and waste with precise process updates.

The role leads process improvements, coordinates VSMs and Kaizen workshops, conducts ergonomic analyses with Industrial Engineers, and develops simulations to quantify impact, while promoting a culture of lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and Lean Manufacturing/CI experience.
• Familiar with Lean tools: QIS, LPA, JOS, Lean Bronze, PDCA, VSM, SMED.
• Strong persuasive communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate development of VSMs and Kaizen workshops.
• Conduct ergonomic studies and analyze workstation ergonomics.
• Monitor Lean Index and drive ongoing area improvements.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and manage implementation.
• Lead improvement projects reducing process variation (Six Sigma).
• Develop and apply quality techniques to troubleshoot processes.
• Document simulations to analyze impact of improvements.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
