Job summary

Heilind Mil-Aero is looking for a Quality Engineer in Lumberton Township, New Jersey to enhance their quality systems and drive continuous improvement in production operations. This role requires collaboration across teams, employing lean tools to implement effective quality measures and maintain documentation aligned with AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards.

Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years in quality engineering within an electro-mechanical or aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and PDCA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured problem-solving events using Lean and PDCA.
• Maintain and improve QMS documentation per AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015.
• Participate in 2nd and 3rd Party audits.
