Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Casa Grande, AZ location. The role trains on day shift and may shift to other departments after training is complete.

Responsibilities include supervising and coaching the team, driving safety, quality and productivity, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree preferred with 1–2 years related experience, strong facilitation and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years directly related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Experience with 5S, LEAN and continuous improvement preferred.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, educate, coach and motivate team members.
• Address safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement goals (5S, LEAN, Six Sigma).
• Provide leadership through development of employees and morale.
• Foster teamwork to ensure team success.
• Train, plan, assign and direct work activities.
• Conduct performance appraisals and address disciplinary issues.
