Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Production Supervisor in Pine Bluff, AR, to lead a production team on the floor, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, a strong background in lean manufacturing, and a focus on continuous improvement across the shift.

The ideal candidate will coach team members, drive problem-solving, and partner with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management is a plus.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen, etc.).
• Track record of leading, coaching, and growing a strong team.
• Comfortable with production scheduling and adjusting on the fly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a 'get it done' attitude.
• Clear, confident communicator who works well with people at every level.
• Comfortable using production software and basic data/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of 2+ Team Leads and 20+ production employees on the floor.
• Hold regular check-ins, set goals, and provide feedback for growth.
• Maintain safety as a top priority and ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead by example and foster a positive, respectful workplace.
• Drive continuous improvement by spotting waste and bottlenecks.
• Plan and manage daily production to hit quality, quantity, and timing targets.
• Coordinate with planning and materials teams to keep schedules realistic.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to keep production flowing.
• Lead root cause investigations and fix quality issues.
• Ensure staffing, training, and equipment availability for the shift.
• Maintain accurate shift records and reporting.
