G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations for a 6+ employee group at our Illinois facility. You will balance throughput, quality, safety, and cost while guiding continuous improvement initiatives with Lean and Six Sigma.

The role requires 5–7 years of manufacturing experience and 3+ years in supervision, with a focus on developing staff and improving processes. Attractive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years’ progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years directing an hourly or manufacturing workforce.
• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office and inventory planning system.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or similar continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations for a group of 6+ employees.
• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to meet targets.
• Control manpower and materials to complete jobs on time.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and new process research.
• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes with Lean/Six Sigma.
• Monitor attendance and maintain timekeeping records.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Planning and QA.
• Ensure safety training and conduct accident investigations.
