G&W Electric seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations for a value stream. You will plan work, assign tasks, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production while driving continuous improvement in collaboration with Operations Excellence.

The role requires 5–7 years in manufacturing with at least 3 years directing an hourly workforce, a HS diploma or GED, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Lean/Six Sigma experience is strongly preferred.

Qualificações

• Five to seven years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of three years directing an hourly or manufacturing workforce.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree optional.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with planning and inventory systems.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Lean, Six Sigma, 5P or similar continuous improvement experience.

Responsabilidades

• Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to meet schedules.
• Control manpower and materials to complete jobs on time.
• Supervise manufacturing employees and monitor performance.
• Lead continuous improvement with Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Manage absenteeism, timekeeping and safety training.
• Coordinate with warehouses and other departments on inventory.
• Develop staff through coaching and training.
• Investigate issues and participate in accident investigations.
