Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Production Supervisor in Lebanon, TN. You will direct production teams in safety, quality, and assembly, coach staff, and drive Lean initiatives to improve processes and reduce waste.

Strong emphasis on training, audits, and data-driven improvements supports a fast-growing manufacturing environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 1–3 years of related experience, English proficiency, and solid leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/training and 1-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing activities.
• Experience and/or exposure to Lean and Continuous Improvement Initiatives such as Kaizen.
• Strong commitment to employee development with an emphasis on selection and retention.
• Proficiency in English (written and oral).
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to production employees in Safety, Quality and Assembly activities.
• Demonstrate leadership and provide coaching and mentoring to production employees.
• Lead and apply Kaizen and Lean to improve production processes.
• Perform daily Safety and Quality audits in designated work centers.
• Manage Daily Improvements activities (5S, SOP Audits).
• Be a visual leader and develop visual signals within work centers.
• Demonstrate problem solving techniques.
• Train employees to meet production standards as a process owner.
• Demonstrate good verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Perform time-based observations and drive improvements to meet tactical goals.
• Be an active leader in policy compliance and accountability.
