Job summary

All Weather Architectural Aluminum in Vacaville, CA is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the daily production activities in our aluminum fabrication area. You will lead a team, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time output in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The role requires 3+ years supervisory experience, familiarity with lean methods, and the ability to train staff. Scheduling runs Monday to Friday, with potential overtime; benefits include health insurance, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in window production.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
• Monitor workflow and make adjustments to labor and equipment resources as needed.
• Train, coach, and mentor production staff; address performance issues and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments (Quality Control, Maintenance, Shipping, etc.) to resolve production issues.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and lead safety meetings.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
• Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained and downtime is minimized.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of production personnel.
