Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Houston seeks a Mid-Senior Level Production Manager to oversee operational performance and quality control. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production and quality methodologies, preferably in lean manufacturing. Responsibilities include improving department efficiencies, conducting performance reviews, and fostering accountability on the manufacturing floor. Qualifications

• Previous experience in production and quality control methods.
• Lean Manufacturing implementation experience preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Fastener manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review department performance to implement improvement opportunities.
• Sustain organizational structure and identify succession plans.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Develop or modify instructions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Analyze historical data for informed decisions on capital expenditures.
• Lead or participate in Corrective Action Reports.
• Keep Operations/General Manager informed of production problems.
• Plan and organize projects with established priorities.
• Communicate with direct reports and other departments daily.
• Foster a culture of accountability on the manufacturing floor.
