Job summary

STRATTEC Security Corporation is a leading supplier of access and security systems to the automotive market. The role supervises daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across departments while aligning with ISO/TS processes.

Strong emphasis on lean tools and KPI tracking. The supervisor will drive continuous improvement, manage personnel and assets, and coordinate with engineering and quality teams to meet production goals and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Engineering education preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading personnel and Kaizen and 5S implementations.
• Familiarity with Key Performance Indicators.
• Experience with TS quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Strattec’s manufacturing departments.
• Supervise safety, quality, personnel, assets, inventory, KPIs and production to meet goals.
• Maintain 5S and safety KPIs, report to management weekly/monthly.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and run to specification.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and lean improvements.
• Manage employees including hiring, training and performance.
