Greif, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a team of about 25 associates at the Tubes & Cores facility. The role oversees daily production activities for a single-line operation, focusing on safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and team development.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing leadership experience, applies Lean principles, and resolves operational challenges in a fast-paced environment. Full-time, first shift, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience leading production associates or teams.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the production team and monitor performance.
• Coordinate shift activities and resolve issues affecting safety, quality, productivity or delivery.
• Lead shift meetings and ensure production progress.
• Implement production plans and performance management systems.
• Develop and implement group improvement plans using Lean principles.
• Ensure team members understand roles and Greif values and responsibilities.
• Foster safety culture, joint problem-solving, and personal development.
• Follow safety regulations and Greif policies.
• Maintain knowledge of production processes and equipment.
