Job summary

DAC Worldwide in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking a Production Manager to lead an 11-person Fabrication and Assembly team. You will drive daily operations, mentor technicians, and implement lean practices to boost efficiency and product quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety, cross-functional collaboration with purchasing and engineering, and the deployment of ERP-based planning to meet customer demand. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of Fabrication and Assembly leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, drawings, and technologies.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality, and ISO.
• Experience with production planning, inventory, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production team.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Act as a technical resource for product production.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing processes.
• Streamline operations and improve efficiency through process improvement.
• Coordinate with purchasing and engineering departments to ensure timely and cost-effective material flow.
